Parent education is an effective and viable way of keeping the parent community up to date with the latest information about practices in teaching and learning as well as research in education.
Each year, parent education sessions are held in Literacy, Numeracy and other topics of identified need. At St Kieran’s we value the opportunity to equip our parents with information about learning in the 21st century. Our parent education sessions provide an up-to-date and comprehensive outline of current teaching and learning practices.
Other parent education sessions are held regularly covering a variety of initiatives in the school. Keeping parents informed is highly valued by the teaching staff at St Kieran’s Primary School.
